Mickey Williams is a 3-star EDGE rusher who has recently committed to ASU. Mickey's offer list included schools such as Auburn, Arkansas, and SMU, but in our interview with him, he stated that the opportunity to play for a CFP team that's close to home (ASU) was too good an opportunity for him to pass up.
Mickey is from San Francisco and attends Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep, a school that has historically been one of the worst teams in the WCAL, one of the most competitive leagues in the country. Despite minimal team success, however, SHC has recently produced multiple D1 guys, most notably former SHC and current Oregon LB Jerry Mixon, whom Williams cited as a “mentor” in our interview with him. In our interview, Mickey previews the 2025 SHC football team with a bold prediction regarding the upcoming season, outlines his commitment to ASU, and walks through his journey to becoming a big-time recruit.
